Jannis has been working in the Multilateral Financial Institutions team at urgewald since May 2024. Through his studies in Economic Development and Globalisation/Growth, he gained tools to analyse and understand economic systems and place them in their historical context. At urgewald, he works on environmental and social standards at the World Bank, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Through various activities in African, Asian and European countries, Jannis has already gained experience in internationally oriented institutions such as the ADB and GIZ GmbH. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, visiting exhibitions and going to the theatre.
