Alina joined Urgewald’s research team in February 2025 and works on the Global Oil and Gas Exit List (GOGEL).
Previously, she worked as an impact and sustainability analyst in the Netherlands. She holds a Research Master’s degree from the University of Amsterdam, specialising in inclusive development, sustainable economics, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. She also completed a dual postgraduate programme in international development cooperation.
With her roots in international relations and human rights, as well as her experience in academia and activism, she is passionate about advancing social justice and sustainable transformation through policy-oriented research.
