Pia joined the urgewald team at the beginning of 2023 and supports the financial research work. Before that, she studied various dimensions of the climate crisis. She first studied climate physics and physical oceanography in Kiel, and later completed a master’s degree in Oldenburg with a focus on sustainable management — particularly energy markets and climate policy.
Away from her desk, Pia enjoys reading and listening to podcasts that inspire new ideas. She also loves hiking.
